Southwest Series: Bunbury

Photographically Speaking (oxymoron?) I have saved the best for last!

Chronologically also. And It was probably my favourite place out of the series. A lot bigger than I expected, but, the real reason was the beach I found. It was probably the nicest piece of beach I've found in OZ, not that I've seen many. It also had an uncanny resemblance to Southbourne,, the way the streets were laid out, wide roads, and just the walk down to the beach itself reminded me a lot of the walkway down to the Bistro on the beach, for those of you who know it. So that, the fact it was pretty quiet and there were Big. Crashy. Waves!!! Meant that it made the end of the trip a really happy one for me!

The look like the arcade game where you have to hit whatever animal pops up with the foam hammer!

BIG crashy waves!

The beach is one of the back ones in Bunbury, The Wyalup-Rocky point is what your looking at now, and are Basalt formations, formed thousands of years ago by flowing lava! Interesting to try and photograph, due to A) trying not to get wet, and B) they aren't overly comfortable to sit or balance on!

I hope you enjoyed the post, it always give me a sense of calm and relaxation being by the sea, with waves and crashy winds, so I hope you all have a little piece of that this weekend!

Thanks for reading
